Wow, what an incredible way to spend the Summer Solstice, completing “The Solstice Grindstone Challenge”. Every single person should be proud of their contribution today, showing immense grit, endurance, and teamwork over 12 hours.
Let’s look at the staggering numbers you all put up:
- Over 528,000 meters biked 🚴
- Over 276,000 meters rowed 🚣
- Over 276,000 meters skied ⛷️
That’s 1,080,000 meters (over 1000km) of erg’ed distance combined.
And not to forget the strength aspect, you collectively completed a massive 2,300 bench press.
Making a Difference for Alzheimer’s Scotland
Beyond the incredible physical feats, I am absolutely thrilled to announce that we have so far raised a huge £2,880 for Alzheimer’s Scotland. That fantastic total looks like it’s still rising.
Every single meter, every single rep, was a testament to your dedication and spirit. Whether you tackled it solo, in pairs, or in quads, you pushed your limits and supported each other every step of the way.
